Thankfully, I discovered a tool that’s been a great help: Twitter Background Checker.
Your Twitter background may look good to you, but remember that you’re only viewing it using your screen resolution. Using Twitter Background Checker, you can see how your background looks in the following screen resolutions:
- 1024 x 768
- 1280 x 1024
- 1680 x 1050
- 1900 x 1200
Use the tool to see if any of your image and/or text gets covered up. You can also see if there’s any white space at higher resolutions – in that case, you need a larger image to fill that space.
To use the tool, just submit either your Twitter username or a specific image URL.
