SEO = Search Engine Optimation. In a nutshell, it involves techniques that increase your website’s visibility/ranking in search engines (Google , Bing, etc.) without using paid services.
The fact is that SEO is not a fast process. It takes time and work to develop a website that naturally shows up at the top of search engine results – and this effort will have longer-lasting results than paid programs.
Many thanks to Hubspot for releasing a free eBook – How to Spot Bad SEO Services: 10 Signs that Your SEO Firm Isn’t Worth the Money.
And who the heck is Hubspot?
In a nutshell, it’s a group of smarties with the mission of helping small businesses in their effort to grow using online tools. They offer awesome webinars (many of which I’ll post on this blog) and other marketing resources.
The eBook is a quick and easy read at 20 pages. Not only does it tell you what to look out for, but it also offers advice on how you should approach search engine optimization for your website.
If you’re interested in downloading the eBook, just click here.
FYI – You’ll have to complete a form to get the eBook. Hubspot does that with all of it’s downloadable resources. Trust me – it’s worth it.
